Irvine, - Hyundai America arrival of a new guest Christopher Chapman, a former designer at BMW AG, which in this Januari 3 officially joined Hyundai Motor America (HMA). According to Hyundai spokesman Jim Trainor, Chapman will replace Phil Zak who previously served as chief designer and unplug March. Phil re-joined with General Motors.
Chapman began his career in Isuzu Motors Ltd. in 1989 and won the design competition with his XU-1. The car was never shown at Tokyo Motor Show 1993. He then joined BMW in 1994 and entrusted the directorship of BMW automotive design 8 years later (2002). The BMW product are in control when it's like the X5, X3, Z4 and the BMW-1 Series E87.
