Chennai, - For product development this Micra, Nissan has two options. Renault took as a partner or the road itself. Besides India, this product is reportedly also being exported to a number of other nations.
Nissan Motor Corporation is preparing to ensure new products to fill the segment below the March or in India called the Micra. "Sister" March is prepared to compete with Maruti Suzuki selling products, Alto and Hyundai Eon. The plan was leaked to the media since December 2010, but Nissanwon't give a statement. Now, Andy Palmer, Nissan's Executive Vice-President said, this product is categorized as low-cost car at a price dikisaran 3 lakh or USD 53.6 million per unit.
"We have no doubt working on a cheap car. There are still some market segments and we have ambitions for depth as possible," beber Andy, reported by Motoroids (01/18/2012).
Currently preparations are being made. "Progress has been more than ready. I can not divulge when the launch. We have a competent engineer in Chennai and very foolish if you do not use it," continued Andy.
This product was prepared in response to the launch of the Nissan cheap car prototype Bajaj RE60 in the arena of Delhi, Auto Show, last week. Initially Nissan-Renault and Bajaj collaborate to prepare a cheap car but eventually disbanded.
