Final results of 2012 Dakar Rally, Stephane Peterhansel won the victory in the car category and Cyril Despres in the motor

Just like hansel, he also played safe on the trajectory from Pisco to Lima (Perus) as far as 29 miles to finish 10th. With no time advantage 11 minutes, he was still ahead of its chief rival Marc Coma 53:20 to finish second.
