After Dan Wheldon's dead, IndyCar and Nascar racer submitted protest


LAS VEGAS,  - A rider in the Indy 500 and NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson to start throwing and another said on Twitter about the weakness of regulation on a race car at Indy 500 race. This conversation could not be separated from the great accidents that create twice Indy 500 champion, Dan Wheldon, died.

The talks are pointed out as a protest against legislation raising the Indy 500 was initiated from Jimmie Johnson's comments to the AP. "The race was crazy! The average speed of rider in Indy how? 362 miles per hour? That's the average! I myself have never reached that speed," he said.

"They're riding on top of a car with an open cockpit (without top) and on the track oval," he added referring to the race track that is often dense, meetings, and high speed. Track conditions that led to the accident prone. "This condition is different from the Formula 1. Should the Indy car race in tracks like Formula 1, not oval," he again added.

On Twitter, the rider replied Indy-answer and began to mobilize protests. "The time for riders to come together. We need a voice ...," wrote driver Tomas Scheckter (@ tomasscheckter).

"I hope in the future, the Indy 500 car has a cockpit covered (roofed) as well as the LeMans LMP1," added Ryan Briscoe (@ RyanBriscoe6).

"Do not worry, I will not depart from this issue .... I will fight for it ...," writes Tomas Scheckter said, adding the hashtag # timetobeheard.

"Thank you for supporting Dan. We do have to learn. It should be a drastic change in our cars, for the sake of safety. Do not retreat from this effort," writes Tagliani (@ tagliani).

"We're too reduce downforce car .... Change the front nose and side protection special wheel oval track," writes Tagliani again.
