let's avoid the deadly accident use advanced cellphone

Ohio - This stuff looks very important. Let's avoid the deadly accident use advanced cellphone.

Smartphone was not only function to access social media or playing games. Apparently smartphone technology also could help avoid accidents.

The technology being developed by car manufacturer Honda. This technology is designed as such and is integrated in the car's onboard computer and smartphone.

Reported by The Age, Saturday (09/07/2013) how this technology works using radar. To be able to 'talk' to each other, have available a computer chip embedded in vehicles, motorcycles and mobile phones.

Later pedestrians can tell each other where each and detect if they are on a collision course. Warning will appear on the vehicle display and the phone.

The screen will flash on the car if there are pedestrians, and if people keep moving, the display warns the driver to do the braking.

if the driver does not react quickly, the vehicle is programmed to stop automatically.

Embedded technology in the car will be integrated with the braking system, so that these technologies are saving the maximum motorists, passengers, and pedestrians.

Currently research is being conducted at Honda's research and development center in Raymond, Ohio, United States.

Meanwhile, the advanced technology is part of Honda's initiative to avoid the deadly accident.

"Safety is the basic reason we developed this technology," said Senior Vice President of Honda North America, Rick Schostek.

What thing of test crash should you know about ?

Arlington, -  What thing of  test crash should you know about ? It's needed to you because of driving security's top priority of us when we takes our cars.

If you watch the video a hit on YouTube test the Chevrolet Malibu and 2009 Chevrolet Bel Air 1959, the car will know the level of security present. New cars must pass crash tests conducted by the manufacturer. Nevertheless some independent testing agency according to their standards.
In America, there is the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), specifically testing the new cars will be sold in the land of Uncle Sam. Others, New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) that is spread across several continents, including Europe (EuroNCAP). The results of those represented by the number of stars. The more stars, the more secure the car.

Also there is the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the agency established tests by insurance companies with some degree of ratings: Good (Good), acceptable (Fair), ordinary (marginal), and bad (poor). Later data safety tests become more considered because the IIHS has more complete test facilities. Here's how to test cash.

1. FMVSS 301This is not a crash test to determine the safety of the passengers, but test the fuel tank does not leak when the hard collision occurs. Because, if the fuel tank is leaking, the consequences are very dangerous. To get good grades, the tank must be filled 93 per cent, should not leak more than one ounce per minute. This also applies to spill the liquid electrolyte in an electric car.

 2. FMVSS 208, Full Frontal ImpactThis is a test "original", has run various institutions since 1968. All of the front of the car crashed into a special wall, straight at speeds above 48 miles per hour for the puppets (dummy) without a seat belt and 56 km per hour for the puppets with seatbelts fitted.
3. Small-Overlap Frontal ImpactAt a speed of 64 km per hour, 25 percent of the front of the car crash. Passengers will be thrown into a corner of the car (A-pillars). At the test some time ago, only three of the 11 cars that are considered safe to test this type. Most air bags front and side passenger's head could not resist the "wandering" hit the pillar A.
4. Moderate-Overlap Frontal ImpactAlmost the same as the test number two, at a speed of 64 km per hour, 40 percent of the front of the car crash. First performed in 1995. As a result, many cars do not meet expectations. Finally, manufacturers add several components to strengthen the engine room and passengers with special structures.
5. FMVSS 214, Side ImpactIn this test, the wall vandal's weighing 1300 kg dihantamkan to the body side of the car that drove at a speed of 53 km per hour with a 90 degree angle. IIHS uses a scarecrow woman in the front seat and rear crash determines the point of dangerous. Only 20 percent achieved good title in 2003. Today, car manufacturers also have to think to strengthen the body structure and side pillars.
6. FMVSS 216, Roof CrushSteel plates weighing more than 2,700 kg blasted ketepi's roof. In theory, to achieve good grades, roof must be able to withstand the load of four times the weight of the car.

best-selling mid-size sedan doesn't mean the safest sedan

LOS ANGELES - best-selling mid-size sedan doesn't mean the safest sedan. It'true because any different point of view can be unveiled before buying their car.

Actually, the U.S. government just standardize a simulated frontal collision between two vehicles. But do some tests IIHS crash, as many accidents are not only a frontal collision which could cause serious injury and death to passengers.

Toyota Camry and Prius V get the lowest ratings in crash tests conducted Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety in the U.S..

This result is quite sad considering the Toyota Camry is one of the best-selling mid-size sedan in the United States. However, in crash tests conducted at 13 mid-size sedan, the Camry and the Prius V nights got very few points.

According to IIHS crash tests performed at different angles of the models. Crash simulation is done by colliding with another car, hit a pole or a collision with a tree.

Score the test results obtained by a pretty good competitor of Camry Honda Accord and the Suzuki Kizashi.

"With the results of the new tests done, we will respond to these challenges. We are evaluating new testing protocol is more appropriate," said Brian Lyons, a Toyota spokesman, as reported by Inautonews.
