Facebook's losing largest advertiser! GM ad spends each year on facebook reaching 10 million U.S.

Detroit, -  GM's ad budget to make claims as the third largest advertiser in 2011, with a budget of 16.1 percent of all companies in the United States.

General Motors (GM), one of the largest advertisers on Facebook, will officially pull all ads that have paid social networking is starting today (16/5). The reason GM, according to research, advertise in Facebook is less effective. However, GM will continue to maintain the ads on other sites.

"We regularly review any media to advertise and to make adjustments. For Facebook, while we are planning not to pursue," said GM spokesman, Greg Martin, told The Detroit News, yesterday (15/5).

GM ad spending each year on Facebook reaches 10 million U.S. dollars and 30 million U.S. dollars, or USD 279 billion on fan pages. Advertising spending on Facebook only a fraction of GM's advertising budget every year to reach 4 billion dollars.
