Ford ecosport itself is already presented and sold to several global automotive market. And Ford is currently preparing 7-seat models to be included in the new segment.
Wheelbase of the new model will not be extended. Ford is only going to add space at the back which is elongate, to include two additional seats.
The engine is still the same as the old Ford ecosport, where ecosport comes with a 1.5 liter petrol engine, a 1.5 liter diesel engine and 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine as the most popular models.
Reportedly, seven-passenger Ford ecosport will first be launched in Brazil. Furthermore, this new model will be taken to other markets around the world.
Previously, Ford ecosport officially launched to the public in the event the New Delhi Auto Expo, where the cars use the same platform with the Fiesta.
