In an interview with What Car?, Wagener revealed plans work on a station wagon version of the CLA. But he rejected rumors that there is a model of A-Class a sportier such as soft top, hatchback or coupe models are small.
"We do not need a sports car, the market is declining," he said.
Mercedes-Benz head of design Gordon Wagener stated that his company would enter the fourth member in the ranks of the A-Class.
In addition to A-Class hatchback and four-door coupe that CLA has been sold, this year will be joining the crossover GLA. A-Class family will manambah another new member in the form of the Shooting Brake variant (station wagon / estate) that is likely to be launched in 2014.
