For the attention of visitors to the exhibition of Frankfurt Motor Show 2013 which took place September 10 July, Toyota will display one of new hybrid cars, the flagship models of Yaris Hybrid R Concept. Some time ago we had led most of the sketches and Toyota issued a release that quoted Worldcarfans (19/8), it adopted the body design of the Yaris.
Technology of new hybrid cars made by Toyota brought from TS030 race cars, such as two electric motors, each of which drives the front wheels and rear simultaneously (all-wheel drive), and super capacitors to store energy as well as regenerative braking.
Conventional engines use Global Race Engine (GRE) with a capacity of 1.6 liters. Reportedly, the maximum power can reach 400 PS and can be arranged through the dual mode control technology. So, the car can be invited to relax or speeding.
These technologies, it says, will be a reference source of energy that will be used for future sports cars. Including the GT 86 future projects.
