The large and growing consumer demand for convenience in running cars , manufacturers continue to develop the technology to meet them . Completeness of the automated parking for example , is not only found in luxury cars , but also the volume car makers like Ford which has long concentrated on this technology .

Now those U.S. manufacturers have a feature called by Fully Assisted Parking Aid ( FAPA ) . This technology works on the result of the collaboration of two previously existing features , Active Park Assist and Powershift transmission . FAPA will operate with just one button that can be pressed from the outside or in the car .

Currently , FAPA is still in the form of prorotipe . Even so , mention this technology can operate the steering wheel , gear , forward or reverse gear . When entering the parking area , just push the button inside . The parking sensor system will find themselves empty area .

Or if it is felt the parking lot is very narrow and does not allow open the door , the driver can get off first, and ordered the car into the parking lot , without touching another car altogether . Sensor will take into account a safe distance to the car entering the area . Everything is automated .
