As announced the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) found an error on the rear brake switch, which is exposed to heat from the exhaust system.

If this happens, the rear brake lights light up the possibility of failure. May also interfere with the brake system. NHTSA said that this condition could lead to crashes.

Harley-Davidson will replace the brake light switch free of charge. However, it's not explained what it will be done to damage of the brake system conditions.
