Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra and Volkswagen Passat finalists're selected into three major Best Cars of North America

DETROIT, - The second major announcement of the winner of this category will be delivered Automobile Journalists Association (Automotive Press Association) in the event the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, January 2012. Last year, the Chevrolet Volt successfully won the title of North American Car of the Year and the Ford Explorer has been named North American Truck of the Year 2010.

Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra and Volkswagen Passat finalists're selected into three major Best Cars of North America (North American Car of the Year) in 2012, the most prestigious award. Trio of three different brands of choice was the result of 50 automotive journalists from throughout North America and USA.

"This is a sign of the times. Finalists selected to reflect the value and fuel efficiency," said Mark Phelan, reporter Free Press, one of the participants jury. He explained, Focus and Elantra is offered in a feature rich and affordable price. VW Passat has a more spacious interior, but cheaper, so a strong appeal to consumers in the U.S. and China.

In addition to the best car category, there is also a finalist for Best Trucks of North America (North American Truck of the Year) which candidate BMW X3, Honda CR-V and Land Rover Evoque. "The finalists of this category of trucks, such as realizing there has been evolution," said Phelan. The third product, he continued in the category Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) fuel-efficient materials, as well as a form of consumer dream 10 years ago.
