Stuttgart - It is not the first award earned Porsche. Previously, they won this prestigious award over the 911 Turbo (2000), Carrera GT (2005), the Panamera (2009), and Cayenne (2010).Porsche 911 Carrera successfully won his first title. The seventh generation of the classic edition 911 Carrera sports car manufacturer from Stuttgart it's earned the prestigious Golden Steering Wheel 2011.
Jury fairly prestigious title because it is a result of the judging of the world's largest international readers. In the category of sports cars, Porsche 911 scored the highest in more than 20 countries in a reader poll conducted by Springer Verlag pan-European.
The award made in building Axel-Springer, Berlin, last weekend. Matthias Muller, President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche AG to receive the award said that every new Porsche 911 model series 911 is the best ever.
"We are pleased that many readers in Europe that also have the same opinion and give the Golden Steering Wheel award to us," said Matthias in the Porsche news conference, Monday, November 14, 2011.
Golden Steering Wheel Award involves 50 million readers of Bild am Sonntag and the media joined in the Auto Bild Group.
