Toyota's crash test to prove 90 percent of Car accidents occurs at a speed of 55 miles per hour

Tokyo - Toyota's Crash tests performed each time it cost millions of dollars this is one of Toyota's efforts to make improvements from security side of the car. Any data taken from the dummy helps to make improvements in vehicle design to make it more secure.

The car sped up to speeds of 100 miles per hour in an accident-prone. But you know if it turns out the number of accidents with a lower speed is the most widespread. Surveys show 90 percent of accidents involving four-wheel vehicles occurs at a speed of 55 miles per hour.

It was submitted Vehicle Safety Development Manager for Toyota Motor Corp. Kanno Indonesia Yoshihisa when reporters visited the facility Higafushi Toyota's Technical Center in Japan some time ago.

"That's why at this facility, we conducted a crash test with a speed of 55 km per hour," he said.

Toyota had time to process or test crash test a collision between the Toyota Yaris and the Crown.

The second car that already contains a dummy crash it uses high-powered winch capable of hoisting the car up to speed of 55 miles per hour. And Brakkk ...! Loud noise due to collisions can be heard throughout the crash test facility.

The front of both cars were destroyed, the smoke from the airbags came out a little, the engine had suffered considerable damage.

"Things like this can happen in the real world,".

Assuming a crash at a speed of 55 miles per hour, the two cars according to Kanno is still effective in protecting the rider.

"You can see, the front door can still be opened easily with one hand only, the driver was protected from accidents. This is what we want on each of our car so accidents happen," he said.
