Carbon Filter will be applied into Ford's components at a cheaper cost

Dearborn-  Looking at the ongoing exhibition, it is very pleasant atmosphere. A remarkable innovation has been developed to address the challenges Ford is a very dynamic era.

Ford Motor Company (FMC) and Dow Chemical Co. (manufacturer of the world's second largest chemical) work together to develop the components of carbon fiber at a cheaper cost. The move is one way to maximize the use of such material so as to reduce car weight of 113 kg to 340 kg. This joint venture allows Ford began using carbon fiber for some of his future before the end of this decade.

Last month the Government of the United States (U.S.), boosted spending 14.2 million dollars to federal agencies to accelerate research and development of lighter material. Because the 10 percent reduction in vehicle weight to save fuel 6 to 8 percent.

Carbon fiber has been used in aerospace vehicles and race cars for decades. The obstacles, the price is still expensive.
