After showing off two concept cars at the event Beijing Motor Show 2012, the Japanese car manufacturer, Honda, announced it has started production for the variants of the All-New Acura ILX at its plant located in Indiana.
Before starting mass production, Honda has made the celebration of the beginning of production for the All-New Acura ILX 2013 models. The celebration was attended by some Honda officials and community partners as well as elected officials. Thus was launched Inautonews, Tuesday (04/24/2012).
"Honda Acura has a good reputation. So we are very excited because the production phase has begun in our factory located in Greensburg, "said June Nishimato, president of Honda Manufacturing of Indiana.
Furthermore, Accura produced at Honda's plant in Indiana, consisting of three engine options, of which, 2.0-liter engine, four-cylinder with 150 horsepower, 2.4-liter engine with six-speed manual transmission that can produce 201 hp power and the latter Hybrid version comes with a 1.5-liter engine, four-cylinder.
