F1 legend Sir Jackie Stewart had suggested to Ferrari to recruit Paul di Resta, but unfortunately it's responded by Mercedes

 Resta is former McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner has a long relationship with Mercedes. Outside the arena of F1, he won the European F3 title in 2006 with a Mercedes and had won the race touring Germany (DTM) in 2010.


F1 legend Sir Jackie Stewart had suggested to Ferrari to recruit Paul di Resta, if the Prancing Horse's camp ejecting both drivers Felipe Massa. There has been no reaction from Ferrari, Mercedes has given it was the signal to pull the team Force India driver to fill in the cockpit if left to Michael Schumacher next year.

This proposition is delivered directly by the team's CEO Nick Fry Mercedes when it was confirmed. Speaking to Sky Sports News, he stressed that no decision has been taken regarding the fate of the former 7 time world champion Schumacher, but if Resta as a replacement candidate is clear.

"Paul (di Resta) is on our radar," tagas Fry. He (Resta), continued Fry has done a fantastic job. He's good, great team player and he's one rider who is no doubt. "If Michael had decided not to proceed, we glanced at it."

Fry recognized, it was not until the thought of a step, but everything on the Mercedes got a lot of admiration for Paul.
