a prototype electric vehicle, MUTE's recently developed by Technical university Munich (TUM)

Technical university Munich (TUM) developed a prototype electric vehicle called MUTE which aims to explore new technologies on collision safety, encouragement, energy storage and logistical requirements to be produced on a large scale.

The concept of mobility is targeted as a vehicle with a power output of 15 kW/20 hp with a maximum weight of 400 kg (without battery).

Automotive industry began to shift from black to green technology. They are busy to offer our customers the hybrid and electric vehicles are far from ideal. Therefore, efforts to build an electric vehicle that has a mass similar safety and mileage as conventional motorized vehicles continue to be made.

A consortium of the German automotive industry partnership led by BMW AG with the Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM) produces Visio.M. This project received financial support from the German Federal Ministry for education and research (BMBF) of 10.8 million Euro.

Visio.M project is exploring how to create efficient electric vehicles to be mass produced at affordable prices and with a level of safety equivalent to conventional motorized vehicles that exist today.
