MUNICH - Smart eScooter has a 4kW power pack and the rear wheel is associated with 48-volt lithium battery. This vehicle is capable of running as far as 100 km and a top speed of 45 km / h. Capacity is sufficient for urban traffic.
German car manufacturer Daimler, creative by building an electric scooter called Smart eScooter. Daimler target electric scooter will be released to the market in 2014.
Smart eScooter is actually already been shown in concept form at the Geneva Motor Show 2010 event. eScooter brings futuristic design as a two-wheeled vehicles with electric drive.
Smart eScooter original concept was to have an output power of 5.4 horsepower, with top speeds reaching 28 miles per hour. Daimler confirms electric scooter project is currently under development and will be released in 2014.
"The decision to support and build eScooter been made. With this step, we add an important step a smart vehicle concept for urban mobility in our future," said Joachim Schmidt, Executive Vice President Mercedes-Benz Cars, at Davos, Switzerland.
