"The distance is very close. We're keeping the tires thirsty, so do not dare drove too fast in order to survive until the end of the race. Hence, Alonso became very close," explained Maldonado.
Recognized by Maldonado that there are certain cloths Alonso approached him, especially at the end of the straight track. But, he was able to control the distance. Williams praised the speed and very strong and valued fantastic car.
"Tim did a small mistake at the last pitstop and the condition does not affect our performance," he continued. Williams praised the car after a lot of progress since last season.
