AFTER many years of absence in the luxury car segment, Mitsubishi is trying his luck again by generating models and Digity Proudia for luxury vehicle market in Japan.
At first Proudia and Dignity native who was born in the late 1990's until the early 2000s, the design made by Mitsubishi while its production to include other naming Hyundai given that Centennial Hyundai and Hyundai Equus.
Mitsubishi Proudia and Dignity which has a longer wheelbase and luxury is the product of an agreement OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) with the Nissan Group and of the model-based Infinity M and M35hL China market (sold as the Nissan Chima in Japan).
Mitsubihi explained that Proudia is short for 'Proud' and 'Diamond' (referring to the Mitsubishi corporate logo 'three diamond'), while Dignity (dignity) to describe the grandeur and majesty.
Mitsubishi alone contribute to Proudia and Dignity was limited to the grille and front bumper reshaping. The rest is owned by Nissan.
Proudia offered in two options, namely the source of propulsion-powered 3.7-liter V6 engine 328 hp in a choice of rear-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive (AWD) and 2.5-liter V6 engine 222 hp powered specifically for rear-wheel drive variants.
Dignity with a longer wheelbase (+15 cm) and more luxurious, equipped with a gasoline-electric hybrid engines similar to that of Infinity M35h which combines a 3.5-liter V6 engine with an electric motor with a total output of 359 hp.
