Minneapolis -As reported Inautonews, Tuesday (24.07.12), Cadillac ATS is designed for the BMW 3 Series coup position, which currently stands at the top for the premium sedan category car sales.
"If the price of Cadillac ATS, and a payment equal to BMW in Europe, this could be a challenge to achieve the sales volume such as BMW," said Tom Libby, automotive analyst RL Polk & Co..
According to Tom, the main problem today is not able to win Cadillac luxury car market in America since 1997. When compared to BMW and Mercedes, Cadillac has only managed to sell 60 percent of all German car sales.
"It was the first American car manufacturer can equal the German manufacturer in the luxury car segment," said Alec Gutierrez, senior analyst for Kelley Blue Book Automotive.
"There has never been this close to U.S. cars with BMW 3 Series, both in terms of style or performance. Remember, Cadillac ATS 2013 is very close to the dimensions of 3 Series, "added Alec.
ATS 2.0 L spewing power of 272 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. Cadillac's latest car is also similar to the BMW turbo power, with low torque. ATS has a horsepower advantage is better, with a lighter weight than the BMW.
