French rider, Thomas Bourgin, died


SANTIAGO-French rider Thomas Bourgin died, Friday 11 Januaro 2013 while the seventh stage of the rally bulldoze most violent in the world. Racers in the Keas was killed in a motorcycle accident in the mountains of Chile.

Rider 25 years was reportedly a collision with a local police officer who runs the opposite direction. The medical team trying to save lives Bourgin can not do much. Bourgin reportedly died at the scene.

Dakar Rally Organizers said the event was an accident that killed Bourgin under investigation.

Dakar 2013 is the premiere Bourgin. He was in position 68 in the overall standings. Bourgin already plunged in world rally racing since 2009, when he took part in the Rally of Morocco. Then grab the top four in the Champions Race 2011 and occupies Africa posiis seven in Tunisia Rally.

"Everyone involved in the event Dakar express great sorrow over the death of Bourgin. They convey condolences to the families and relatives Bourgin," wrote organizers of the Dakar Rally in a press release.
