Mexican Jazz sedan will slide

According to Honda executives, crossover model will slide as the second hatchback from Honda's Mexico plant. The new manufacturing facility is scheduled to start operating in 2014, has an annual production capacity reached 200 thousand vehicles. Of that amount, 30 percent is sold in Mexico and the rest thrown into the export market.

While asked about the sedan, the source did not want to answer them in detail. Honda sedan based on the Honda Fit has long been sold in Asia, and transformed into a Honda City. If this is the Honda Fit or Jazz will become sedan option began to shift, or even kill Honda City itself.

Honda Motor Co. poised to add one more variant based Honda Fit  for the European and Asian markets. In addition to the newly introduced crossover and a hatchback, sedan variant will accompany both Honda and a mainstay for the U.S. market. Jazz sedan will be manufactured at the new plant of Mexico, which is currently under construction.

The news was leaked by one of the executives of Honda as reported Autonews, yesterday (11/12) and started bustling in the virtual world today. Apparently, the Japanese manufacturers began to see a shift in the U.S. market, that small cars are increasingly popular and efficient, leaving other types of large even-powered pickup that was familiar.
