Mitsubishi Motors announced the success of their second and third winner for one of mitsubishi vehicles in the annual race Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) to category EV (Electric Vehicle). PPIHC held in Colorado Springs in late June 2013.
In the event PPIHC this 2013, Mitsubishi again represented by Hiroshi Masuoka and Greg Tracy. Masuoka is a legend of the Dakar Rally while Tracy is periah champion six times in the motorcycle class PPIHC.
Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) is a time-trial championship event which was followed by the annual automotive 150 participants each year. This event is the second oldest automotive championships in America, after the Indianapolis 500. This year PPIHC entering year 91 and still held in the natural circuit Rocky Mountains to reach the 12:42 mile path length and 156 bend. Down in this event by using the two latest concept electric vehicle, the all-new Evolution MiEV II, Mitsubishi won second place with a time of 10 minutes 21 866 seconds for Hiroshi Masuoka. While Greg Tracy festive III champion recorded a time of 10 minutes 23 649 seconds.
