For the first time in two years , Honda Fit is able to surpass and beat the Toyota Prius and Aqua sales in Japan in total sales last month .
Honda Fit / Jazz is able to record sales of 23 281 units last month . This figure is two times larger than last year during the same period . According to data released by the Japan Automobile Dealers Association , recorded sales of 20 886 units of the Prius Aqua whereas only 19 984 units .
The last time Honda tops the highest sales in Japan , in May 2011 . Means , almost two years to reach a new Honda returned the highest monthly sales in Japan .
Temporary . Toyota Prius hybrid and a duet with AUQA often alternately dominate car sales in Japan .
Honda can regain the top spot monthly sales after introducing a new version of Jazz in September . Honda claims the Jazz hybrid gives better mileage , and the price is cheaper than Aqua .
