NEW YORK - Is that true that Motorcycle thieves get phobia of Harley Davidson motorcycles in US?

The number of cases of motorcycle theft did not only occur in developing countries , in the United States superpower too many cases of theft of both motorcycles and cars .

According to data from the National Insurance Crime Bureau ( NICB ) United States, New York is the city most cases of theft in the land of Uncle Sam . Followed by Las Vegas , San Diego , Indianapolis , and Miami , as reported by USA Today , Friday ( 29/11/2013 ) .



According to data of the total number of cases of motorcycle thefts in the United States in 2012 amounted to 46 061 . This number was down one percent compared to the previous year . As for this year , the brand with that most thieves target is a Honda motorcycle .

Honda motorcycle theft ranks first with a total of 9,082 cases , followed by the brand Yamaha , Suzuki , Kawasaki , and Harley Davidson . For the case of Harley , according to analysts in the U.S. it turns thieves frightened by the owners of the big motorcycles , so they prefer Japanese motorcycles .

This motorcycle theft is more difficult to return to its owners as compared to the case of car theft . Because motorcycles have been stolen and not found , a lot of the parts taken which are then sold abroad through illegal channels .
