Nowadays most people only subscribe to the Internet at home or on the gadgets they carry . But not in the future . General Motors ( GM ) start it by opening the 4G LTE service on their car .
Internet connection was intended for a data connection through OnStar , GM car data services at the latest . For starters , GM plans to roll out 4G service in June 2015 starting with the and will be offered in most of the GM lineup for model year 2015.
The cost is quite cheap , especially for those who already subscribe to the service navigation or safety car . It costs about U.S. $ 5-50 .
GM's OnStar claims that the connection speed will be much faster than the speed offered in the smartphone or gadget usually . With the internet service , the GM would like to draw the attention of potential customers now are hungry for connectivity .
" It's all about bringing more value to the customer through a connection , " said OnStar Chief Operating Officer Terry Inch .
