Transmisision with greater teeth to 9 speed now no longer rare item. German manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz will put the transmission gear 9 at Mercy E-Class models.
The plan starting next September, all variants of the E-Class will use 9G-Tronic gearbox as standard transmission.
9G-Tronic gearbox it will be integrated with the E 350 BlueTEC engine in the E-Class variants of both the Saloon, Estate, Coupe; and Cabriolet.
Transmission is claimed Mercy makes the car have more power but with a smaller emissions.
Carbon dioxide emissions E-Class is now reduced 17 grams per km to 136 g / km for the Coupe, 139 g / km for the Saloon, 142 g / km for Real and 143 g / km for the Cabriolet type. While power has been increased to 258 horsepower 6 horsepower.
In addition to this new transmission, the E-Class will be fitted with security features that are not less sophisticated as the Collision Prevention Assist Plus to reduce the impact of collision from behind.
This system will provide audible and visual warning to the driver that there is a risk of accidents.
