Jaguar canceled produce C-X75 hybrid hypercar ever mejeng premiere at the Paris Motor Show 2010 event. This decision, as quoted by Autonews Europe due to global economic pressures. In fact, the middle of last year, a British manufacturer already informs will produce up to 250 units with a tag of 900,000 pounds (USD 13.9 billion) per unit.
If so marketed, the C-X75 hybrid hypercar will compete with famous brands such as Ferrari Enzo, Porsche 918, and McLaren P1. "After years of consideration and see the development of the market in the short term, we see the conditions do not support to launch C-X75," the Jaguar in a statement, yesterday (13/12/2012).
Initially, Hypercar will be driven by four electric motors mounted on each wheel with a pair of jet turbine to drive a generator. Jaguar also claimed maximum power reaches 780 hp.
However, the plan failed and the use of turbines of Jaguar prefers to develop plug-in hybrid technology (wed conventional 1.6-liter engine and an electric motor). The maximum speed is 322 kph but got a low exhaust 99 grams of carbon dioxide per km.
