NEW DELHI -As quoted IndianCarsBikes, HD made in India is still using V-Twin engine with engine capacity of 500cc. HD will also use local components, to pursue the sale price is in the range of 300,000 and 400,000 rupees.
This model is intended for the consumer market of India and also some countries in Asia. Not yet known whether the 500 will also be sold in the United States and Europe.
New Harley-Davidson models have an engine similar to the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500. Royal Enfield Classic 499cc engine uses two plugs, one cylinder but not the V-Twin models.
Harley-Davidson serious about playing in the segment medium under 1,000 cc engine. In the Indian automobile market, Harley will begin to spawn the small-engined variant.
