One by one Japanese car manufacturers anxious to damage the airbag airbag supplied by Takata Corp. company. After Toyota, Honda is now related to the dismay of the damage the components.
If the investigation agency of the U.S. National Traffic Safety (NHTSA) states the air bag supplier in the world, Takata proved to have a manufacturing defect, then Honda will recall big at the end of June.
It was based on information from sources who know the recall process as reported by Reuters on Tuesday (17/06/2014).
It would be a massive recall because is expected to exceed 1,135 million Honda car towed last year.
"We will conduct an investigation as soon as possible and if we decide there is a vehicle that we have to pull, so we will do a recall," said a spokeswoman Akemi Ando Hinda.
Now Honda is waiting for more information from Takata. On the other hand, Honda is investigating itself how many vehicles that may need to be recalled. Related damage Takata airbag inflators, Toyota recalled more than 700,000 vehicles.
